Amanda Miller,

Certified Advanced Rolfer

“Rolfers help get the system sufficiently resilient so that it is able to change, and it will change; It doesn’t have to be forced. It’s that forcing that you have to avoid at all costs.” - Ida Rolf, PhD

About Me

I am an experienced, intuitive and heart centered practitioner. I believe that Rolfing deeply affects us physically as well as emotionally, spiritually and energetically. The process changes the way we relate to and move through the world around us.

My professional career began in 1994 at the Atlanta School of Massage. I was accepted into the Rolf Institute for Basic Certification in 1998 and received my Advanced Certification in 2013. In April 2017 I received my Cranial Manipulation certification from Jim Asher and the Colorado Cranial Institute.

Rolfing Structural Integration is a unique and highly effective method of physical manipulation and movement education. Through a combination of applied pressure and gentle movements, Rolfing frees and re-positions the layers of fascia. As a result, tension, tightness, and habitual holding patterns are released, uncovering structural ease and balance within the body. Trauma, surgical procedures, inflammatory responses and habitual patterns create tightness throughout this highly complex and specialized network of connective tissue.

My interest in Rolfing Structural Integration and Cranial Manipulation lies in their benefits for helping heal from traumas, head traumas, and PTSD in its ability to create deep relaxation in the nervous system. My goal in working with you is to create space for you to release and unwind the years of pain, trauma and habitual patterns that are stored in your body and are no longer serving you.

I am truly looking forward to hearing from you.
